As a new father, I was frustrated with the lack of consensus on baby topics. There seemed to be conflicting opinions on every question I had. What should I look for in a mattress? Is there a benefit to how different baby swings move? Are bottle sterilizers better than a dishwasher? All of the answers sounded like opinions or a discussion to sell a product.
I wanted data!
I want an informed opinion that studies provide. Who are the experts, and exactly how far does their expertise go? I know there are always children come with surprises but tell me what is relatable.
This blog is a place I am going to document the data I, or others, find. I’ll try to limit the opinions and elevate the most consistent sources. Maybe provide historical context if opinions change. In the end, I want a place to fill the gap of us Unscientific Fathers.
